The integration course for women
Learning among women
The integration course for women with a migration background is aimed at women who cannot or do not want to participate in the general integration course for family, cultural or biographical reasons.
Women’s integration courses – analogous to the general integration courses – initially aim to provide the participants with knowledge of the German language up to B1 level as well as information about the German legal system, history and culture and to prepare them linguistically for the everyday life in the Federal Republic.
Like the general integration course, the women’s integration course consists of 7 modules and concludes with the language level B1, which is taken with the language test Deutsch-Test für Zuwanderer (DTZ). Then follows the orientation module including the final examination Leben in Deutschland (LiD) .
The women’s integration course aims to provide women with a protected space in which they can exchange ideas and develop basic linguistic knowledge and skills in an atmosphere of trust. The participants should be equipped with all the linguistic and communicative knowledge they need to meet the demands of society, work, family, etc. in Germany.
The course also focuses on topics specific to women. With this and other information, the participants should be able to live their lives in Germany independently and confidently and come closer to the goal of equal participation in social life.
We welcome women from all parts of the world and cultures and are pleased to be able to recommend qualified teachers for integration lessons with our (migration) experienced and (culturally) sensitive lecturers. If required, the FONS Academy provides child care during the course times.
