Living in Germany
In our regional and cultural studies courses for people with a general interest and who would like to live and work in Germany, we concentrate on the intercultural approach, since language and cultural learning are closely linked. We try to bring the German language and culture alive to you, to arouse your interest in the country and its people and to connect to your experiences, experiences and ideas of life in Germany.
Political and cultural topics such as German history, the political system of the Federal Republic of Germany, education, literature, art, customs, festivals or sights, for which Berlin offers a lot of authentic visual material, form the focal points of the course programme. Thanks to the large selection of cultural and historical places and the topics that come up, we can inspire our learners to take a closer look at German culture, living conditions, world views and behaviour of the people living here.

The knowledge acquired in our courses on regional studies benefits all participants for their stay or everyday life in Germany as well as for their studies or profession. This is why we deal – also individually – with the structure and content of the “Living in Germany” (LID) test, which is taken by those of our participants who aspire to naturalisation in Germany.
