“telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule” is the name of the most recent of the language examinations that entitle students to study at German universities and (technical) colleges. The examination is aimed at people who want to study, study or work in an academic or scientific profession at a German university and require proof of advanced language skills. The telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule – Prüfung has been recognised as a language entrance examination at all German-speaking universities since 2016.

In our exam preparation courses we offer prospective students a targeted and comprehensive preparation for the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule exam. In order to successfully participate in this course, you should have reached at least the B2 level, ideally already the C1 level. Of course, you can also attend the examination preparation course after completing a B2 or C1 course with us.

telc’s language certificates, which are an equivalent to the Goethe certificates, have become increasingly popular in recent years. This is partly due to the modular structure of the examination and the fact that people can repeat failed parts of the examination individually. Telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule consists – like other exams – of four parts: 1st reading comprehension and language modules, 2nd listening comprehension, 3rd written expression and 4th oral expression.

We systematically introduce you to the specific requirements of the telc examination in clearly structured learning units. After 6 weeks of intensive preparation you will not only know the examination format very well, but you will also have acquired a lot of advanced techniques and strategies to effectively solve the tasks. In the last few weeks we will put you into authentic exam situations (exam simulation) and let you take several telc practice and model tests under real conditions. Since our lecturers*include certified telc examiners, you can rely on the adequacy of their evaluations and professional feedback.

After completing our telc exam preparation course – usually lasting 6 weeks – you can take the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule exam at one of the more than 30 exam centres in Berlin.
