Study and exam preparation courses

In order to be able to study at a university in the Federal Republic of Germany, all people need verifiable, sufficient language skills. You can acquire these in various course formats from us.

International applicants must provide proof of language proficiency as a university entrance qualification. The language certificate (as a certified copy) must be submitted together with the application documents to the enrolment office of the respective university or university.

Recognised language certificates can be obtained by taking one of the following language tests:

• German language examination for university admission of foreign university applicants “DSH” with the overall result DSH-2
• Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache für ausländische Studienbewerber “TestDaF” with a score of at least TestDaF level 4 in all four partial examinations
• Certificate of the passed Goethe-Zertifikat C2
• Certificate of successful completion of the “telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule” examination
• Certificate of the assessment test at the preparatory college (Studienkolleg)
• German Language Diploma of the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (- Second Level -)

If one of the above language examinations has not yet been passed, a university application is only possible under the following conditions:

Confirmation of participation in German course B 2.2 (Intermediate II) and confirmation of registration for one of the above language examinations as well as a certified copy of the result of the passed language examination by 30 September XXXX at the latest (for a winter semester).

• telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule” language examination
• “German Entrance Test” for the Studienkolleg
