Language courses for diplomats
Our diplomatic language courses offer diplomats and embassy staff from all over the world an intensive and comprehensive educational programme. According to your previous knowledge, abilities and learning goals, qualified DaF teachers prepare the contents of this intensive course.
Beginners as well as advanced students who would like to improve their German language skills will find a course at the FONS Academy that corresponds to their knowledge with a tailor-made course programme that is oriented towards current methodological-didactic standards and the levels A1-C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

The language lessons take place in small groups and are communicative, interactive and thematically appropriate. The topics of our diplomacy language courses are characterised by topicality and authenticity and deal – from the middle school onwards – above all with historical, political, social, economic and cultural questions.
In the afternoons, in addition to language lessons, there are lectures, excursions, city research (on regional studies) and leisure activities, in which we are happy to take into account the wishes, ideas and ideas of our participants*. You will also have the opportunity to listen to internal lectures on German politics, history, culture and business and to visit institutions based in Berlin.
