Summer school programme

Summer is not only the best time for city trips, but also to get to know new people and cultures. Berlin welcomes you with a mild and sunny climate and is most beautiful in summer with its many nightlife, parks and nearby bathing lakes. In the evening, many streets of the city are transformed into a buzzing sea of people, numerous bars and clubs invite you to nightlife – cosmopolitan, creative and always at the pulse of time.

The following topics belong to our summer course program:

• Culture and History of Berlin and Germany (Culture and Regional Studies)
• Educational, study and professional paths in Germany and other EU countries
• Living in Germany – Society, politics, work and environment
• Art and culture from Museum island to the international music scene and Berlin Street Art

As Germany’s political capital on the former border between East and West, Berlin has much to tell with its long and eventful history. As an attraction and melting pot of many cultures and people from all over the world, Berlin is still a metropolis with many cultural and political facets.

Every year we welcome participants from many countries who want to improve the German language in our language courses and discover Berlin. Take part in our many activities in Berlin and the surrounding area: city tours, sightseeing, museum visits, excursions, excursions and lots of art and culture are waiting for you!
